Field Trips




Environmental Education, Nutrition Awareness and Community are at the heart of everything we grow. We feel strongly that stewarding our resources, promoting self reliance and protecting the genetic legacy of heirloom vegetables is both a duty and an honor. We would love to help your students explore the natural world and the wonders of farm life on an organically sustained market farm.
Field Trip Facts:
Cost is $10 per student
Field Trips average 90 mins
Farmgirl Gardens & Market will supply potable water, picnic tables, and activity-specific materials
All Field Trips satisfy the requirements for the Girl Scout Brownie Bug Badge and Junior Gardener Badge and include a farm tour, craft, and seeds to take home. We also accept a limited about of Eagle Scout Award projects per year.
All Field Trips are by appointment only.

Please Bring:
Hats
Closed-toed shoes
Sunscreen
Water bottles

Farm rules:
Follow instructions
Use care with plants and livestock  
Do not touch tools or equipment unless instructed to by your farmer
Clean up after your group

Cancellation policy:
You must notify us at least one week prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund. In the event of severe weather, Field Trips can be rescheduled with no additional cost within the same season.
